THOMAS C. GASPARD has been a professional fiduciary since 1999, one of USFid’s founding members. He has since served in a variety of trustee roles.
Tom previously spent 30 years as a senior manager at Citigroup, parent company to Citibank. At Citi, he specialized in consumer financial services with a range of assignments: founder and CEO of Citibank in Washington, DC; president of the worldwide systems subsidiary Transaction Technology, Inc. headquartered in Santa Monica, California; and director of distribution for Citicorp Investments in New York, where his responsibilities included the Citi-Travelers merger transition for global asset management.
Since retiring from Citi in 2001, Tom has pursued selected ventures in addition to U.S. Fiduciary Advisors: developing residential real estate in coastal Delaware and managing a complex asset restructuring for a renowned European family, a direct result of his experience as a seasoned, high integrity executive and his thoughtful, get-it-done approach.
He is a past board member of Holy Cross Hospital and Stone Ridge School in the Washington area, where he was also a member of the Board of Trade and Federal City Council. Tom is currently involved in a number of probono efforts related to health care. He holds two advanced degrees, including an MBA from Harvard University. In connection with his most recent Citi position he held a Series 7 security license. He currently resides in Maryland and Delaware.
